The Internet of Things has roots in Auto-ID and RFID (here's part of the origin story) and RFID Journal Live! is one of the longest-running industry conferences co-hosted with IEEE RFID, this year in Las Vegas.
I've been attending since 2013, and will be there (physically!) this year, presenting a tutorial on RFID as Ambient Data at the IEEE RFID conference, and will be happy to share my slides with the AIoT Canada community following.
Don't hesitate to reach out if you're attending and would like to meet up, or if you'd like me to visit any RFID/IoT vendor booths on your behalf. I already have a number of requests from academia/researchers. :-)
