Last week, ISED released the rules for the C-band auction (3650-3900 MHz). Key highlights: 1. late start date in October of 2023; 2. No set-aside for small operators; 3. Cap of 100 MHz across 3 GHz assets. This will work in favor of the national operators; however, regional and small operators will see more challenges and will need to prepare and plan their strategy and finances well ahead.
