According to researchers from University of Delft, the future information exchanges will be done not exactly in the usual format (bits 1 or 0) but in Qubits . These qubits are using the laws of quantum physics. For example, one particular phenomenon of such  particles is called entanglement. The particularity of such connection is incredible, as  the 2 particles are completely identical no matter the distance, as if they are inter-connected between themselves constantly.  In theory, it seems as close to teleportation as we got, because of their precise coordination.

Currently, we can use quantum bits via optical fibers but the "teleportation signal between them is limited to around 100km, after which the signal becomes weak and is lost. If we would want to increase the distance, we will have to link the qubits by a quantum chain.

    Thanks Roman,

AIoT and Quantum are "entangled". It is important to examine the evolution of communication, AIoT sensors and post-quantum security. Aa 5G ambassador for AIoT Canada, CTO of Flex Group and co-chair of several research groups at Polytechnique. I am fortunate to spend part of my time in this area.

I was recently asked: What are the existing AIoT sensors based on Quantom technologies.

Several quantum sensors have been developed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, but the technology is still in the early stages of development and commercialization. Here are some examples of quantum sensors for the IoT:

Quantum accelerometers: These sensors use the properties of quantum systems to measure acceleration with high precision. They have potential applications in navigation, motion tracking and vibration detection.

Quantum magnetometers: These sensors use the properties of quantum systems to measure magnetic fields with high precision. They have potential applications in navigation, sensing and imaging.
They could be used in magneto-directional sensors, the same type of sensors used in border security applications.

Quantum gyroscopes: These sensors use the properties of quantum systems to measure angular velocity with high precision. They have potential applications in navigation, motion tracking and imaging.

Quantum pressure sensors: These sensors use the properties of quantum systems to measure pressure with high precision. They have potential applications in monitoring and control systems, such as in industrial and medical environments.

Quantum temperature sensors: These sensors use the properties of quantum systems to measure temperature with high precision. They have potential applications in industrial process control, medical devices, and environmental monitoring.

It is important to note that these quantum sensors are still in the early stages of development and commercialization, and many of them are still experimental or in the research phase, but it is clear that the technology has the potential to improve considerably the performance of IoT sensors in various applications.

The interesting fact is that Canada's research in this area is one of the best: See list ***
